Come join the Golden Gate Lotus Club for this open track event at Sonoma Raceway November 8, 2021. You should sign up early to ensure yourself a spot.
You do not need to own a Lotus to attend this event. Price is $320 for GGLC members and $340 for non-members. You can purchase your GGLC yearly membership for $25 at time of signup and get the discount immediately.
Advanced Group will have open passing with no pointby required. Intermediate and Novice Groups will have open passing on many of the straights, and passing with a pointby on the rest of the course. We will run 8AM to 5PM with one hour for lunch. Each Group should get one 20 minute session every hour for a total of 8 sessions per day per group.
The groups will be classified as follows:
Novice Group
You must have a minimum of 1 track day or equivalent previous experience. Passing without a point-by will be allowed on the long straights only. Passing in turns will be allowed with a point-by.

Intermediate Group
You must have a minimum of 5 track days previous experience or equivalent. Passing without a point-by will be allowed on the long straights and some of the short straights. Passing in turns will be allowed with a point-by.

Advanced Group
You must have a minimum of 15 track days experience or equivalent . Passing without a point-by will be allowed everywhere including turns and braking zones.

Passengers will be allowed if both the driver and passenger are vaccinated or from the same household.
Any damage to the track, markers, walls, etc or incidents that cause excess charges for fire, safety, tow, or cleanup may be charged back to the driver who caused the problem. We will decide this on a case-by-case basis.
Open top cars MUST have a roll bar that attaches at four locations on the body/chassis. Decorative, or "Style Bars" are not allowed. Factory installed roll-over protection including pop-up bars are allowed. Drivers of open top cars must wear eye protection.
You are soley responsible for the condition and safety of your car and we will not conduct a technical inspection of your car unless it appeares to deserve one. Lemons racers, cars with damaged bodywork or bad paint may get looked at closely by us. Any water, fuel, or brake fluid leaks will disqualify your car. Small oil leaks are typically allowed but they should not drop more than 1 drip per hour.
Helmets must be certified SA2010 or later.
All cars must have numbers on both sides for Identification. Pick any number. Digits must be 6” tall minimum.
Open wheeled cars will be allowed in the Advanced Group only.
